In this edition, Dean Ken Eastman chats with Dr. Brij Thapa, the new head of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Brij takes over leadership of the HTM program following 20 years as a faculty member at the University of Florida’s Department of Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management. Along with his extensive research experience, he also directed the Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute at the University of Florida, and served as the department's program leader and coordinator for graduate & undergraduate programs. We’re pleased that he has joined us to lead the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and joins the podcast as we learn about his vision for the school.

Russ is the co-founder and CEO of HostBridge Technology and graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in management science and computer systems. He also volunteers as a member of the OSU entrepreneurship program’s advisory board.

Ken Eastman, dean of the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University, visits with Cameron Jantsch, a senior majoring in finance with a minor in accounting. She has been active in the business school for the past four years, and this year is serving as president of the Business Student Council. Cameron spent this past summer interning with EY, and she shares about that experience. Cameron provides a student’s perspective on what they are experiencing and how they are coping as we navigate the coronavirus pandemic.
